Introduction: Inflammation has been involved in the physiopathology of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). Hematological inflammatory markers such as neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and white blood cell count (WBC) can serve as predictive markers for a systemic inflammatory response.
